This was to provide a finish for their current adventure.<br /><br />Just as they started their campaign, a Senator (voice of Paul Frees, naturally) came on TV to announce his newest crusade (the following is as near a direct quote as I can recall):<br /><br />"It's too easy to become a U.S. citizen! All you have to do is get <i>born</i> here!<br />Well, this new bill of mine's gonna make it tougher!"<br /><br />I was 10 years old in 1960.<br />I thought this was just funny.<br />What did I know?<br /><br /><i>The more things change, the more they stay the same ...</i>Mike Dorannoreply@blogger.com
