My god, that looks like fun. I may have to go to Idaho one of these days.
ReplyDeleteRoad trip, Dusty. I've been looking for a place to break in this M1 Garand I just bought.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that would make that more fun would be having a .50 cal machine gun mounted on the bed of your pickup truck.
ReplyDeleteBut really, small arms are for wimps. Real men use cruise missiles.
.50 cal guns are welcome. We haven't had any .50 full autos show up yet though.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to attend you should get your entry in soon. It's filling up rapidly. I have a bunch of entries that haven't been processed but I think there are still about 15 or 20 spaces still available.
We aren't going to allow cruise missles but we are considering 20 mm and do allow bowling ball mortars and anvils. Check out this (high speed internet required) video for details.

Boomershoot 2007 (April 29th) is almost full. There are only six .50 caliber positions and three standard positions available. This is out of 70 positions that were available a month ago. If you want to attend as a participant you need to sign up soon.
