Conservative Talk Show Host and Fox News Contributor Mike Gallagher:
Seeing Jane Fonda Saturday was enough to make me wish the unthinkable: it will take another terror attack on American soil in order to render these left-leaning crazies irrelevant again. Remember how quiet they were after 9/11? No one dared take them seriously. It was the United States against the terrorist world, just like it should be.
What a great American. He wishes death on thousands of his fellow citizens, just to make a point to Jane Fonda.
Of course this is the same great American who led a group of "counter-protesters" to Cindy Sheehan's vigil in Crawford, Texas to shout "We don't care!" at the families of dead soldiers.
It's simply amazing how close the Far Right and Islamic FundiNutcase Wing are to each other. Some other RightWingNutcase has (I think) just written a book blaming the Left for 9/11, using the theory that the Sodom and Gomorah we have created here pushed the Islamic Militants over the edge, and that the Islamic Militants were justified.

ReplyDeleteOn the drive home tonight, I switched over to the local talk radio station, which airs syndicated conservative shows. Have you ever heard Rusty Humphries? His theme song goes: "Rusty Humphries! Heck, yeah!" Not hell, yeah; heck, yeah. He was ragging on Arlen Specter because of Specter's comment today that Bush is not the "sole decider" on troop deployments.
ReplyDeleteThen he slipped into that same old argument: you have to support Bush and the war, and if we "cut and run," the Middle East will become "Hell on Earth" (I was surpised he didn't say Heck on Earth). It'll BECOME Hell on Earth? What the fuck is it now???
Well, maybe he'll get his wish, since resident nutcase Pat Robertson says God promised him mass killing late this year. He was practically giddy about it.
