    In California it would be classified as a destructive device since it's a grenade launcher.

    You can get a permit for it if it's for your business. Like a dealer, say, or a television production company.

    Not, sadly, jobs like bounty hunter or IT Professional. Bastards.

    Otherwise it's a $10,000.00 fine and/or 1 year in jail.
