People occasionally ask me whether I'm afraid my overtly political writing will alienate potential readers of my fiction. When I see that Dubbya's approval ratings have plunged to 25% I have to answer, "no, not really."

Those that make up the 25% really scare me.
Those that make up the 25% can't read. At least, not without moving their lips.

I am not so much worrying about them reading as I am them breeding.
Wow. Not even Nixon dropped that low. I wonder how he compares in popularity to Hoover.
And even if some of that 25% can read they, like W, already own a book.
Glad you don't feel that your political views have hurt readership. I've just forayed into this territory myself and am curious.
