Please Please Please Forgive Me, Lord Rush....

Groveling to the bloated, sweaty, bloviating drug addict who is the de facto leader of the GOP has never been easier, with the Republican Apology Machine.  Join the tattered remnants of the Republican Party as they strive to narrow their appeal even further!

Remember, Rush claims 20 million listeners and 65 million people voted for Barack Obama, but math, as we know, has a well-known liberal bias.

And yet they give Rush so much coverage on the other networks, making him seem like a viable commentator on Obama. Why?

Patti, Patti, Patti, why does Bill Maher even tolerate Ann Coulter's presence?

Because it's fun to watch a moron eat his or her own boogers on national TV.

I'm just disappointed Michael Steele eats his own, too.

It only shows how far the Reps have sunk if they're looking to a hypocritical drug addict loudmouth rant show host as their titular head. And this Fatso wants to debate the President? Gimme a break...

Gerard Saylor said...

He doesn't want to debate the president, he just wants the attention. He'd fall flat on his fat butt in a real debate without free reign to rant, unable to cut the microphones of the opposition, and unable to lie without challenge.

The problem with getting all giddy about the Reps inability to divorce themselves from an obvious moron is (or are) the tent cities springing up in CA right now (and no doubt other states) ... our "collective" government just gave away hundred of billions of our dollars to millionaire gamblers who lost ... with no protection for the taxpayers ultimately footing the bill ... and what we're getting for it now are Hoovervilles ... except they're bush-obamavilles ... and while the Dems are all happy with themselves over the plight of inept Republican politics, the house they wanted so bad is about to crumble because in another few weeks of this obscene situation (yeah, the "stimulus"), nobody is gonna much care about how foolish Limbaugh is ... they're gonna wanna know what the fuck their Messiah intends to do about tent cities.

just some food for thought...

Part of the strategy, Charlie, is to cut public support out from under the people who want Obama to fail at turning things around.

From today's WaPo:

Democratic strategist Chris Lehane called Limbaugh "the perfect foil" because of his popularity with the Republican base. "The media won't cover a fight if it's not perceived as a fair fight. It's a win for the Democrats and Obama, a win for Limbaugh because it enhances his stature with his audience, and probably a loss for the Republican Party."

Exactly.

PR? Sure it's PR. But in the 24 hour news cycle, when people can run to their computers and deluge their elected representatives with e-mails, or texts, or tweets, or whatever, public perception is important. The last thing Obama can be seen as now is unwilling to fight.

Remember the Swift Boat Veterans for "Truth?" John Kerry followed the conventional wisdom and tried to ignore them. But when every smear is picked up and slung 'round the world then back again, he was seen as weak for not fighting back. People were asking me, to my face, "if Kerry won't stand up for himself against these guys, how will he stand up to the terrorists"? Obama learned from that, and the Geriatric Obstructionist Party can't stand that.

Why does Limbaugh look more like Archie Bunker every time I see his picture?

Limbaugh might look like Archie, but Archie had stronger convictions.

Why is this inept Obama administration wasting time trying to deflate Limbaugh? They should be spending 100% of their time and energy focusing on structuring real solutions to todays problems that confront all Americans.

Limbaugh is a entertainer, but evidently Obama sees him as a threat. This is all geared around to ensure Obama is elected again in 2012. Mr. Change: Focus on today and act presidential. See the job seekers in lines, our collapsing 401Ks, Gov't debt and spending that is out of control.... (and quit buying $100 steaks from Japan with taxpayer dollars and buy good ole American beef)

Because, as I've already explained, public perception is important.

And please spare us your concern trolling. Obama has proposed a number of solutions, with the stimulus, the budget and now the health care plan, and you people have pissed and moaned about every one.

You whine a lot about "objectivity", Joseph but you've shown damn little of it here.

Limbaugh is a entertainer, but evidently Obama sees him as a threat.

Wrong again. Obama sees Rush as an opportunity. If Obama can tie the GOP in the public's mind to a racist, self-aggrandizing drug addict who got caught coming back from a solo trip to the Dominican Republic with a suitcase fill of Viagra, then the public perception of the Republicans as the party of corruption, phoniness, hypocrisy and racism will be set in stone for years to come.

Bless their little hearts, the GOP seems determined to help Obama do just that by bowing the knee every time Rush bellows.

There you go again.

I thought you gave up eating those "Lead paint chips"!

This is Obama's economy now and he's driving it down the toilet. You're so rapped up into bashing the GOP, you can't put your balls on the table and be open about where this clown is taking America.

JD Rhoades said...

Hey, Joseph, thanks for proving my point, yet again. You're really in no position whatsoever to lecture anyone about partisanship, especially with that wingnut talking point about how "this is Obama's economy now."

You sound like the mouth-breathers at RedState or Michellemalkin.com. Have you just been a hypocrite for so long you don't even recognize it?

Again, "Lead paint chips"!

*Yawn*. Guess you're out of material, Joey.

Attacking me won't get you banned. Being boring while doing it, however, will.

This is Obama's economy.... He put this administration together. It's his "stimulus" program. It's his budget. He is alienating Wall Street. The recent market downward trend is because of him and his policies. And the expansion of job losses in the USA is because of HIM. He wants huge government....He is not providing plans to grow small-business in American. That it the catalysis to get the economy moving. Treasury Secretary "genius" Geithner can't get qualified economists on his staff because they know this is not how you build an economy. (and they don't want their names associated with this Treasury) You may be comfortable with the way your investments are moving, but the majority of Americans are not.

What do you see in way of economic growth down the road in 6-18 months?

JD Rhoades said...

Hilarious. Bush was president for eight years, during which he spent most of his time blaming Clinton. He left Obama with a record debt (after inheriting a surplus), a wrecked economy, and a stock market that's been sliding for months...and after less than two months in office, you blame Obama?

And you have the colossal gall to call ME partisan?

Anonymous said...

The S&P has dropped 22% after Geithner talked before Congress to lay out his plans. That was a month ago and investors & economists didn't buy it.

I guess you are always going to blame the Reps. for everything.

JD Rhoades said...

I guess you are always going to blame the Reps. for everything.

Because they held the White House for eight years, and Congress for six of the last eight.

And you'll blame either Clinton or Obama even though Clinton hasn't been in power for eight years and Obama's only been there six weeks. So get off your fucking high horse. Obama inherited this, he's trying to dig us out of it, and all you can do is bitch and whine.

So what's your solution, Joseph? Tax cuts, tax cuts, and more tax cuts for the rich? We've had eight years of it, and look where we are.

"BITCH and WHINE?" -That is what your whole Blog is about. You're the "KING of BITCH and WHINE."

JD Rhoades said...

That the best you can do, Joey? "I know you are, but what am I?" Boring.

JD Rhoades said...

Still waiting for your solution BTW.

Stiiiiil waiting!
