No Principles Whatsoever

Talking Points Memo
...every Senate Republican today voted against reestablishing "pay-as-you-go" budgeting rules that mandate that any new spending must be paid for. The rule passed on a 60-40 party line vote.

So when Senate republicans talk about being worried about the deficit, they don't really mean it.

So completely unsurprising from the Party of No.

Hypocrisy? I am shocked.

You know what's worse? The spineless Democrats ought to be talking about this 24/7 for the next month. How much you want to bet they never even bring it up?

They will not vote for a single Obama or Democratic Party generated idea-even when it reflects their ideology. They are vicious hypocrites.
It seems like the Dems can never get the stage--even when they control every part of it.

JD,
Your comment beat me to it. Every time a Republican gives a speech that is either filled with falsehood or repudiates what was alleged to be a firmly-held conviction (which means just about all of them), the next Democrat to speak should be prepared to call bullshit. If they're not, then they don't care as much as they say they do, a point that seems to be coming into focus.
