One Reason to Love John McCain (UPDATED)

He makes the wingnuts completely batshit crazy with rage.

Watch the clip of the increasingly irrelevant wingnut harpy Ann Coulter claiming that "Hillary Clinton will be stronger in the war on terror" than McCain and going on to say that she would campaign for Clinton if McCain was the nominee.

It's going to be SO much fun to watch the pro-empire, pro-torture, pro-xenophobia Brownshirt Wing of the Republican Party tear the whole organization to shreds if McCain does get the nomination.

UPDATE: Glenn Beck of CNN has started calling McCain "Juan McCain" because of his positions on immigration. The far-right website redstate.com has reportedly said that anyone who uses a Hispanic name as a slur will be banned for racism.

Think about that: redstate.org is less racist than CNN.

I have no idea why these people don't like John McCain. He has a solidly conservative voting record. Maybe it's cause he won't kiss their ass. Or maybe because he puts what he thinks is best for the country ahead of what he thinks is best for the Republican party.

Here! Here! I agree, Graham Powell.

Two issues that are absolutely vital to the Far Right: Immigration and torture. They don't like the first, and they ADORE the second. McCain won't toe the line on either and that sends the wannabe tough guys that like to fondle themselves while fantasizing about Jack Bauer cutting the fingers off illegal immigrants into mouth-foaming rage.

Spider's right -- these ARE the Crazy Years.

I wonder what Coulter will do if it turns out to be Obama vs. McCain?

This new idea that you have to line up with the religious/far right on every issue might lead to their demise as a force. We can only hope.

Obama vs. McCain is a choice I would love to have. You can't go wrong there.

It's a long ways until the election. But Obama was in Santa Fe tonight, and I swear every college student in 500 miles was here to greet him! The children are our future.
