Al-Qaida: We Want McCain!

Not that we should give a rusty damn what these murdering bastards want, but this will be good to remember the next time some wingnut starts babbling about how terrorists want Obama to be President.

And they will. You know they will.

The Associated Press: Al-Qaida-linked Web site backs McCain as president
WASHINGTON (AP) — Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.

The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said. "Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush."

You just know they'll find a way to make this about Obama. Maybe suggest it's reverse psychology to get everyone to vote Democratic.

I wonder how many papers will run it.

My thought was reverse psychology as well.

I just read Yellow Medicine and Anthony Neil Smith's character had a good point about Islamist nut jobs needing us to hate them and fight them. That they need the opposition to have their own insanity make sense.
